At it’s core mechanical engineering involves using new and existing technologies coupled with scientific principles, to create innovate solutions for challenging problems. D3 have worked extensively over the years at the forefront of tackling engineering problems head on.

We combine our extensive knowledge of advanced engineering processes and principles to support our clients with resources and experience to help overcome their R&D focused projects. We have worked on both brand new technologies or applications and upgrading existing ones to further develop and push boundaries.

• FEED and development of initial design concepts.

• Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

• Prototyping of initial concepts.

• Reverse Engineering of existing equipment.

• Validation of proposed designs by undertaking all required calculations in-line with industry standards.

• Engineering drawings, certification and approval to allow for manufacture.

We have experience working on a real mixed-bag of R&D projects - from high-pressure subsea components, to drone mounted assemblies, to MOD combat engineering, to rapid-testing medical equipment… The list goes on.
